He Is Risen

Matthew 28:1-20

Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. ² And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. ³ His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. ⁴ And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men.

⁵ But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. ⁶ He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.⁷ And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.”

⁸ So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word.

⁹ And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, “Rejoice!” So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him. ¹⁰ Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell My brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see Me.”

The Soldiers Are Bribed

¹¹ Now while they were going, behold, some of the guard came into the city and reported to the chief priests all the things that had happened. ¹² When they had assembled with the elders and consulted together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers,¹³ saying, “Tell them, ‘His disciples came at night and stole Him away while we slept.’ ¹⁴ And if this comes to the governor’s ears, we will appease him and make you secure.” ¹⁵ So they took the money and did as they were instructed, and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.

The Great Commission

¹⁶ Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. ¹⁷ When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.

¹⁸ And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. ¹⁹ Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

The Resurrection

Early on Sunday morning, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance. She ran and found Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved. She said, “They have taken the Lord’s body out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put Him!”

Peter and the other disciple started out for the tomb. They were both running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. He stooped and looked in and saw the linen wrappings lying there, but he didn’t go in. Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside. He also noticed the linen wrappings lying there, while the cloth that had covered Jesus’ head was folded up and lying apart from the other wrappings. Then the disciple who had reached the tomb first also went in, and he saw and believed—for until then they still hadn’t understood the Scriptures that said Jesus must rise from the dead. Then they went home.

Jesus Appears to Mary Magdalene

Mary was standing outside the tomb crying, and as she wept, she stooped and looked in. She saw two white-robed angels, one sitting at the head and the other at the foot of the place where the body of Jesus had been lying.“Dear woman, why are you crying?” the angels asked her.

“Because they have taken away my Lord,” she replied, “and I don’t know where they have put Him.”

She turned to leave and saw someone standing there. It was Jesus, but she didn’t recognize Him. “Dear woman, why are you crying?” Jesus asked her. “Who are you looking for?”

She thought he was the gardener. “Sir,” she said, “if you have taken Him away, tell me where you have put Him, and I will go and get Him.”

“Mary!” Jesus said. She turned to Him and cried out, “Rabboni!” (which is Hebrew for “Teacher”).

“Don’t cling to Me,” Jesus said, “for I haven’t yet ascended to the Father. But go find my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, to My God and your God.’”

Mary Magdalene found the disciples and told them, “I have seen the Lord!” Then she gave them His message.

Jesus Appears to His Disciples

That Sunday evening the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” He said.  As He spoke, He showed them the wounds in His hands and His side. They were filled with joy when they saw the Lord! Again he said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent Me, so I am sending you.”

Then He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive anyone’s sins, they are forgiven. If you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”

Jesus Appears to Thomas

One of the twelve disciples, Thomas (nicknamed the Twin), was not with the others when Jesus came. They told him, “We have seen the Lord!”

But he replied, “I won’t believe it unless I see the nail wounds in His hands, put my fingers into them, and place my hand into the wound in His side.”

Eight days later the disciples were together again, and this time Thomas was with them. The doors were locked; but suddenly, as before, Jesus was standing among them. “Peace be with you,” he said. Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and look at my hands. Put your hand into the wound in my side. Don’t be faithless any longer. Believe!”

“My Lord and my God!” Thomas exclaimed.

Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen Me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing Me.”

Purpose of the Book

The disciples saw Jesus do many other miraculous signs in addition to the ones recorded in this book. But these are written so that you may continue to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in Him you will have life by the power of His name.

• Art/Colorists!: There’s TONS of art to be made for this game… 500+. This will be budgeted towards obtaining more art resources and contractors for the project. Hiring the best artists, to do their best work! This too helps complete the project quicker, and gives the art a MUCH more polished look to make ReElise truly great.
• Marketing: This is a difficult game to attempt to market, so there will be several hurdles and cost to overcome with such an odd title. Not to mention all the huge expenses for Cons (conventions) and costs associated with it…
• Licensing and Publishing fees: Most have been paid for already, but, some sites require to pay a bit of cash just to upload content onto their site.
• Rewards: Making sure that you lovely people get your rewards without difficulty
• Programmers: Refining the programing is going to take things to the next level. More sets of eyes doing amazing technical work and trouble shooting will really take ReElise to the next level.

The number seems large, however this can literally change the face of gaming in the future (sort of blazing a trail), but ONLY if it’s done in a very credible way. Making this a big deal takes bigger money, I need your help!

To my gamers – Help me build a game studio with strange, diverse ideas with simple, flippin’ awesome gameplay and interesting, subversive stories to explore at the player’s pace. This can’t be something truly special without special people who want great games comes to the rescue! I know you just want great games in the end, and we’ll make them!

To my brothers and sisters in Christ – this is about reintroducing what a “Christian game” can be, while still displaying the attributes of Christ in non-conventional ways. I want you guys to be able to bring art back to the Body without being branded a heretic, and I need your support to start this dialogue on a large scale. Currently the game has been built in RPG Maker VX. HOWEVER! An opportunity arose recently in which we can port over to another engine with far greater ease than any other on market.
That is the Eden Engine! It powered Citizens of Earth (Click to find out more), released in 2015 by Eden Industries and published by ATLUS, and is being used for their upcoming games as well.

If the Kickstarter is successful we’ll be using the easy to use yet powerful Eden Engine to bring ReElise to a whole new level (no pun intended). That means, much higher qualities of polish in all areas including gameplay with the ability to port to ALL other platforms. Let’s make this happen!

Risks and challenges

Hassles with contractors, and other teammates. This isn’t necessarily a relational problem, but a human problem (stuff happens).

Another issue is time efficiency. Organizing contractors and other persons efficiently in order to maximize progress. It sounds simple, but can be an ongoing process, however I have been very successful with contractors in the past.

Another issue is partnering with new (yet more efficient) technology, is figuring out said technology. This may lead to delays, but will definitely result in a stronger product that’s able to port to many different platforms.

The important thing is to NOT place all of our eggs in one basket… or person. We have a pool of several hundred highly skilled artists from a previous project my friend started that we can pull from. I am acquainted with them… they just need to be paid.

What prevents us from experiencing the life of love and destiny God desires for us?

Our Refusal

PEOPLE ARE SINFUL. Sin keeps us from knowing God personally and from experiencing His love, peace and destiny. Sin enslaves, blocks and separates us from God.

PEOPLE ARE SINFUL “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23)
Sin is our innate refusal to go God’s way and instead, to go our own way and do our own thing. God is holy, that is, perfect in who He is and all He does. Our sinful nature and actions offend God’s holy nature and result in a broken relationship and separated from Him.
PEOPLE ARE ENSLAVED “Jesus replied, ‘I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin’” (John 8:34).

PEOPLE ARE SEPARATED “For the wages of sin is death…” (spiritual separation) (Romans 6:23)
WAGES = PENALTY
People are sinful and separated from a holy God by a great gap. We may try to cross that gap by living a good life, not harming anyone, attending church or other religious meetings, or by giving money to our favorite charities. All of these efforts fail because the sinful condition of the heart remains unchanged, enslaved to sin.

The third principle (Below) explains the only way to cross the gap…

The Message

Jesus Christ came to provide the bridge back to a destiny with God. Jesus Christ alone forgives and removes our sins so we can know God personally, and experience His love, peace and freedom forever.

HE DIED ON THE CROSS IN OUR PLACE “For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God…” (1 Peter 3:18). Jesus Christ was able to pay the penalty for our sins not find Him guilty of any wrongdoing.

HE ROSE FROM THE DEAD “Christ died for our sins…He was buried, He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures…He appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. After that, He appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers…”  (1 Corinthians 15:3-6)
Christ’s resurrection proved that He has the power over death to enable us to live eternally with God.
HE IS THE WAY TO GOD “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me’” (John 14:6).

HE SETS US FREE “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed” (John 8:36).

His Son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins, in our place. In this way He paid the death penalty that we deserve.

What would a person need to do in order to change their destiny to know God and experience the love, and freedom from sin that He offers?

Our Respect

We must individually receive Jesus Christ, because only He provides the destiny to God. Only then can we experience His love, and live in freedom for eternity.

WE MUST RECEIVE CHRIST “Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:12).
WE RECEIVE CHRIST THROUGH FAITH “By grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works that no one should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9, NASB).
Faith = trust, dependence on God
WHEN WE RECEIVE CHRIST, WE HAVE A NEW DESTINY.  WE EXPERIENCE HIS LOVE, FREEDOM, AND ETERNAL LIFE. [Jesus speaking] “I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly” (John 10:10 NASB).
To receive Christ:

1. Recognize and admit you need to be forgiven of your sins.
2. Admit you can do nothing on your own to free yourself from your sins.
3. Turn away from your sins (repentance) and place your trust in Jesus Christ alone.
4. When you trust Christ, you receive His complete forgiveness and an eternal relationship with God.

Knowing intellectually that Jesus Christ is the Son of God is not enough. Having an emotional experience will not change your destiny and allow you to experience His love, peace and freedom.

We receive Jesus Christ by faith, as an act of our will.

Think About It

These two circles represent two kinds of lives or paths that people choose:

SELF-DIRECTED LIFE Christ is outside the life. The different areas of life represented by the dots are self-directed and not in harmony with God’s desires.

CHRIST-DIRECTED LIFE Christ is in the life. This person has received Christ and His forgive-ness for their sins. Christ directs every area of life, resulting in harmony with God’s desire and plan.

YOU CAN RECEIVE CHRIST RIGHT NOW BY FAITH THROUGH PRAYER. (Prayer is just talking with God)
God is not so concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart. You must mean what you pray, for God knows your heart and you cannot deceive Him.

Here is a suggested prayer: Jesus Christ, I need you. I confess that I have sinned against You and have been running my own life.  Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. Please come into my life and forgive my sins and set me free. Begin directing my life. Change my destiny.  Make me into the person you created me to be. Thank you for answering my prayer by coming into my life and giving me eternal life. Amen.

Does this prayer express your heart’s desire? If it does, pray this prayer right now and Christ will come into your life, as He promised.

How to Know…

HOW TO KNOW THAT CHRIST IS IN YOUR LIFE Know He answered your prayer and came into your life? You can know that Christ is in your life because of the 1 John 4:14-15:

“And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in

God and His Word are completely trustworthy.
THE BIBLE PROMISES ETERNAL LIFE TO ALL WHO RECEIVE CHRIST “And the witness is this, that God has given us eternal life, life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that you may know that you have eternal life.(1 John 5:11–13, NASB)
Thank God daily that Christ is in your life and He will never leave you (Hebrews 13:5).  You can know on the basis of His promise that Christ lives in you and you have eternal life, from the moment you invited Him in.  He will not deceive you.)

What if you don’t feel any different?

DO NOT DEPEND ON FEELINGS This train diagram illustrates the relationship between fact (God and His Word), faith (our trust in God and His Word), and feeling (the result of our faith and obedience).  Read John 14:21.

The train will run with or without the caboose (feeling). In the same way, we as Christians do not depend on feelings or emotions. We rely on the promises of God’s Word, not our feelings. The Christian lives by faith in God and His Word.

THE MOMENT YOU RECEIVED CHRIST BY FAITH, AS AN ACT OF YOUR WILL, MANY THINGS HAPPENED, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:

1. Christ came into your life (1 Corinthians 6:17; Colossians 1:27).
2. Christ set you free from your sins and forgave you (Romans 8:1-2; 2 Corinthians 3:17; Galatians 5:1; Colossians 1:14).
3. You became a child of God (John 1:12).
4. God lavished His love on you (Romans 8:35–39; 1 John 3:1).
5. You received eternal life (John 5:24).
6. You began the new and satisfying life for which God created you (John 10:10; 2 Corinthians 5:17; 1 Thessalonians 5:18).

Being freed and loved by Christ is all good! He changed your destiny.  Would you like to thank God in prayer right now for what He has done for you?  By thanking God, you demonstrate your faith.

SUGGESTIONS FOR CHRISTIAN GROWTH Our relationship with Christ grows as we trust God more and more with every detail of our lives. “The righteous will live by faith” (Galatians 3:11). This trust develops as we:

G	Go to God in prayer daily.  (Col 4:2)
R	Read God’s Word daily (Acts 17:11).  Begin with the Gospel of John
O	Obey GOd moment by moment. (John 14:21)
W	Witness for Christ by your life and words (Matthew 4:19; John 15:8)

GET INVOLVED IN A GOOD CHURCH (Bible-based, Christ centered) God’s Word admonishes us not to forsake “the assembling of ourselves together…” (Hebrews 10:25; Acts 2:42–47). Several logs burn brightly together; but put one aside and its fire goes out. So it is with your relationship to other Christians. If you do not belong to a church, do not wait to be invited. Take the first step; call the pastor of a nearby church where Christ is honored and His Word is preached. Start this week and make plans to attend regularly. hear from you!

Bullying VS. Trolling

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Is trolling the same as bullying? A lot of people will argue and say it is different. I do not agree and I will show why I don’t agree. But first, lets dig to some other stuff.

Ask yourself, have you ever been bullied? Or are you a bully? If your a bully, please stop what your doing. You may see people do crazy things, maybe like shootings, going on a rampage or commit suicide. But are they really 100% at fault? No! The bully that bullied them around is. The person who is being bullied, finally says I can’t take it anymore! So Mr. Bully you are killing people. So please stop with the baby games. Your not cool.

Those who have been bullied, we don’t have an excuse to go on a rampage, but we need to fight for peace. I personally was bullied most of my life… being the tallest kid in elementary, and many high school kids would on me even pick on me when I was in kindergarten. I was also a pacifist. I didn’t believe in violence to solve my problems.

 

 

People who argue about bullying & trolling to be different, say bullying is to harm you & trolling is upset you (trolling is a joke) People who are bullied, you guys are doing a good job getting through the day, week, month & years, trying to avoid bigger problems. Do you remember the last couple years when the world had a movement of anti-bullying. Well we need to keep that up & add anti-trolling. Those who are bullied and then come home and troll people online, shame on you.

The bully usually has power and has others to support him. The bully could really be the odd ball of the bunch. And the one who is being bullied, well shockingly you could just be the new person and very handsome/attractive and still not be accepted. You could be a nerd, geek, gamer, you may look/act different, may have a disability? The bully may tell you that your a loser. Your not, he is the loser. (In reality we all are losers, without Jesus)  Most people who are bullied turn to video games to exit away from all the junk that is being handed to them. Now think of someone being bullied, then they go play video games and someone trolled him on the video game? The troll is filling up with kicks and giggles, the victim isn’t.

Many people think life is all good for people, a prank/trolling isn’t a joke. A joke is asking a question like why didn’t the turtle cross the road?

Have you ever been trolled or been the troll? Upsetting someone can be harmful to someone because, being harmful to someone time after time will cause them to get upset, they may say enough is enough and go on a rampage. Which a lot of school shootings and other events are caused by the bully. And we the people sit back and say “Wow, that kid (whom shot people) needs serious help” What we need to see is the root of the problem. Who is a bully that made this person go on a rampage?

 

 

Looking at the picture above, all those words are about the same and can be switched to the other side. So you are trolling people and you think its funny. Just because YOU think its funny the other one doesn’t. But wait, after you troll your going to tell them, they have been trolled, so its all good? NO! Your wrong. It’s not all good. Imagine you trolling someone that has been bullied and after you get done trolling them. That person says I’m sick of life, and they end their life or end other peoples’ lives and their own. But the troll/bully may never know that this event has happened, so it’s all good right?

Since you are reading this, if you haven’t noticed. We are born-again Christians and if you are one as well? Why would you troll or bully someone? Think again, you may not be born-again. But today you can repent of your sins and ask Jesus to come into your heart right now.

If you are being bullied, Jesus is a great friend to have. Please do the same and repent of your sins and ask Jesus to come into your heart. “For we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” – Romans 3:23  “You must be born-again to enter into the kingdom of God” – John 3:3 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is everlasting life” – Romans 6:23

 

 

We do need to stop the bullying & the trolling! Trolling does cause harm and bullying does cause you to be upset. Don’t think it’s different, because it’s not. And if you like watch people on YouTube or Twitch troll people, you are supporting that. Please stop supporting and start saying something. Be a hero & save someone’s life.

Jesus is the only man who didn’t sin and Jesus is good. We sin for we are bad people. All people but Jesus are bad because we are sinners and Jesus was not a sinner, for He is good. We do deserve to burn in Hell, but God sent His Son to die for our sins, so if we give our life to Him, we don’t have to burn in Hell.

Number Two: Depends if people know Jesus. Sometimes if we play around with sin, God will discipline us. Or He will test our faith in Him, like Job in the Bible.

So you ask yourself, “why did “John” have to die? He was on fire for Jesus, he was only 30 years old and he had a wife and 2 kids.” Well, God uses deaths to reach the lost. We personally get selfish and think of ourselves. We get “mad” at God when it was never about us in the first place.

God has a plan and His plan is good. He tries to find the lost in mist of their sins.

Taking the Next Step

Accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord & Savior is the only the beginning. There are many things that He wants to do with you and for you- not only when you die, but right now and throughout your life

• The Bible, the book God has given to tell us about Himself, will provide much wisdom, direction and encouragement. To learn what God wants to do in your life, it’s important that you learn what the Bible says (1 Peter 2:2).

Begin with the New Testament book of Philippians, and read a small section each day.

• Before Jesus died, He promised a “comforter” to give us wisdom and make us strong. This personal comforter is the Holy Spirit, who lives in God’s people. Understanding of the Bible and strength to do what is teaches will come as you learn to rely on the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:16).

Ask the Holy Spirit to guide and strengthen you each day.

• Because God made and loves us, it makes sense that He wants to talk to us, and have us talk to Him. This talking to God is prayer. Like conversation with a human person, prayer can include words of friendship, thanksgiving, and requests for help. God calls Himself our Father and, far better than human fathers, He is always waiting to listen, to comfort and to help. Prayer is another essential part of living as a Christian (Philippians 4:6-7).

Speak plainy and simply to God, explaining your daily needs and asking for His help.

• One more thing. You’ll find practical help and personal encouragement among other Christians (Hebrews 10:25).

           Begin to look for a Bible based, Christ centered church where the Bible is taught and the people are eager to help you begin your new life. Your Counselor can help.

Question Four: When Do I Decide?

This may be the most important question, because – in a way – you’ve already decided. If you haven’t accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, you are even now rejecting God. Good deeds and religious activities will never bring you forgiveness or peace with God, because they cannot “undo” the wrong things you have done. The penalty for those wrong decisions must be paid. Accepting Jesus Christ is the only way to have peace with God, forgiveness for all that you’ve done wrong, and the strength that comes with His help in your life.

Confess that you have done wrong things (confession is simply agreeing with God that you need His forgiveness and help.)

Understand that Jesus Christ died to pay the penalty for your sin (God raised Jesus from the dead to show that He had accepted Jesus’ payment for you.)

Trust Jesus Christ to come into your life, forgive your sins, and help you to become the person He created you to be.

Dear God, I know that I have done wrong. I need your forgiveness. I want to be the person You created me to be.
