Graduation – Congratulations!

graduation-sunday

CONGRATULATIONS! Today may not be your day, either graduation was earlier for you or coming up. But many graduations are taking place today. We enjoyed gaming with you and hope to continue! Congratulations on working hard to get through school, whether it is high school or college. May you continue to go where Jesus is calling you. Listen to His voice, be like Abraham. If you feel Jesus calling to a place and there’s just not too funds to provide, and everyone is probably telling you, “don’t do it” including your family. Take a leap of faith – We serve a God greater than all man kind. Trust Him, not the world.

“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?  Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.  Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.  If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’  For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.  But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.  Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”  – Matthew 6:26-34

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”  – Jeremiah 29:11

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”  – Joshua 1:9

This is my favorite quote of all time from Winston Churchill.  It is said that this was the entirety of a speech given at a graduation ceremony.  Whether or not this speech actually happened is irrelevant.  The content is to be absorbed and used as fuel for our perseverance. Giving up should never be an option.

JESUS BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY AND AGAIN CONGRATULATIONS 2014!!!

But go for a team that may glorify Jesus, pray for them winners to acknowledge Jesus & may share Jesus with the world. Cause in the end, Jesus is still King.

I have seen Christian players, not take advantage of the platform their on to share Jesus with world. So I pray for people to come to know Jesus as their Lord & Savior on Super Bowl Sunday. Jesus bless you!

The Birth of Jesus – Luke 2:1-21

In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world.  (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.)  And everyone went to their own town to register.

So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David.  He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child.  While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born,  and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped Him in cloths and placed Him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night.  An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.  Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

“Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom His favor rests.”

When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”

So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger.  When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child,  and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them.  But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.  The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.

On the eighth day, when it was time to circumcise the child, He was named Jesus, the name the angel had given Him before He was conceived.

Navidad11-12(1)

May you have a blessed time with your families, and when your able to say a prayer over the food. I encourage you to be the one to pray and in the prayer acknowledge our Lord & Savior’s birth. Without His grace, we would all be dead. Thank You, Jesus!

If your not with your family for the Holydays, may you spend some alone time with our Lord & Savior. Jesus bless you all!!!
