116th Day of the Year

Today is the 116th day of the year! “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.” – Romans 1:16

116 is an action, not just going around and shouting “116 or unashamed.” That’s being unashamed of Jesus, but if you go out and preach the gospel of Jesus & make disciples, that is being unashamed. Going places to share Jesus where your not welcomed. That is being unashamed.

So today what will you do? We hope not just on 1/16 (January 16) and the 116th day of the year that you will be unashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, but everyday.

Today is January 16 (1/16) This is 116 Unashamed Day! If ur unashamed of Jesus, Go tell someone about Him and His love today. Do not wait, for we aren’t guaranteed tomorrow. Representing the 116 Movement is an action word, not just shouting out “116”!

Dark Horse vs Joyful Noise

Have you heard the BIG news? You may have heard of “Dark Horse” by Katy Perry (secular music). Well, she’s a thief. That’s not her music! Big news, she stole the music from 2 Christian artists, Flame & Lecrae. Flame & Lecrae are suing Katy Perry. What song did she steal? The famous “Joyful Noise.”

Lecrae says Katy Perry and her songwriting team took his 2008 song “Joyful Noise,” added some “witchcraft, paganism, black magic, and Illuminati imagery,” and the song became “Dark Horse.”

Now we Christians could get upset by this, but I tell you, “don’t”. I think it’s great they are suing her, because it made headline news! Millions of fans and regular people will see this and they may want to go and hear the original music “Joyful Noise”. So while listen to “Joyful Noise,” may God open their eyes of their heart. We need to pray that God finds these peoples’ hearts in the mist. May they truly repent of their sins and turn to Jesus alone. Amen.
